Scorpion Control

Dangerous and Potentially Deadly!

Scorpions are very common in Texas. They find their way into our homes, sheds, stables and shoes. Although they all look sinister, only two of the 1,300 species of scorpions in the United States are poisonous, and they’re both found in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. However, just because most scorpions aren’t deadly, their stings will still hurt about as much as a bee or wasp sting. Their venom is especially dangerous for children and small pets. That’s why you need to get rid of them if you find an infestation in your home.

Scorpion Appearance

Scorpions have an elongated body with a segmented tail equipped with a stinger that curls over their back. They’re usually around two inches long. Scorpions are most common across the southern region of the United States.
